SAME-SEX MARRIAGES .

Same-sex marriages in Africa are still debated on and most of the countries tend to not like or appreciate the marriage custom. Firstly I would like to point out an issue here, as I always tell people. Being gay is not  waking up in the morning and telling yourself that you gay. Its about what you feeling about that particular person never mind of their sexual being but it is all about love and commitment.

It is believed that marriage is for heterosexuals and not for homophobes. Marriage is about love and commitment. Why do we have to be gunned down and our sisters be victims of correction rape and that is just right in the eyes of homophobic people. Parents disown their children for because they have fell in love with their partners and their partners happen to be same sex as them. Truly speaking same sex marriages are the cutest thing ever.

(Tulchin, 2007) Since early 1960’s, gay activists have been striving for the right to marry. However, the issue of gay marriage only arose from the 1990’s, as three same-sex couples filed a lawsuit against the state of Hawaii for the prohibition of gay marriage in US. This triggered the discussion about same sex marriages around the world  and has grown to be a discussion even today.

I believe that we have to teach people to accept same sex marriage in Africa. I mean how do we compete with the world when we have our brothers and sisters hostage and cant marry whoever they fall in love with. What's more important is to learn to accept people for who they are. And by the way, the laws that these Presidents implemented to discriminate same sex marriages who gave them the right to implement them? because they don't have the right to dictate the lives of others because of they're sexual being! SOMIZI MHLONGO

Somizi  Mhlongo is the most celebrated gay celebrity in South Africa. He begun his debut in the entertainment industry in 1992 hit movie Sarafina. It is well known that he was born in the family of entertainment and that's when he knew that he wanted to be like his mother and father.

He was also doing shows where he revealed his alter ego Madam Gigi-this was after Somizi came out that he is gay. He has a daughter Lehlohonolo Bahumi with the Generations star Palesa Madisikwane.

As we all know that celebrities come and go in this industry, Somizi went broke and he faded away on our TV screens and that was his downfall. Well I don't have all the juices why he went broke but we know he was broke sometime in his life. But he made his comeback in 2010 as the official choreographer for the opening and closing of the FIFA World Cup ceremony. He slowly worked his way up again now he is slaying and doesn't look like he is going to be broke anytime soon.

He now has #livingthedreamwithsomizi a reality show that plays on Mzansi magic, he is a judge on the hit show Idols SA and he is also a radio personality on fresh breakfast on Metro fm. He is also an MC and he is an author for his book Dominos, where he explains the early stages of his life and his downfall.

OH and of course, he is in a relationship with the hot Mohale Motaung. Somizi proposed in the beginning of the year in Paris and obviously Mohale said YES!. It clearly shows that Somizi is living his dream and its all about hard work.

WE LOVE YOU SOMGAGA!

#chooseday

Since it is #chooseday I choose @nal.ledii_25 and @tshepiso as my chosen couple of this week.

They met back in high school when Naledi was doing her grade 10. Just like any other love  story, they became friends and eventually fell in love.

It wasn't easy for Naledi to be in a homosexual relationship because she always thought of what people will say and so forth. Being in a homosexual relationship is like being in any other relationship but it becomes difficult if you don't know where you stand. " I was trying to find out about my sexuality" Naledi said. She also added that she liked Tshepiso but she was scared to show her feelings.
Fast forward. They celebrated their 2nd anniversary on the 4th of January 2018.

Personally I'm just happy that Naledi was able to date Tshepiso despite all the odds she went through to be with bae. It clearly shows that in love it doesn't matter who you are...its all about the connection you have.  <3

HOMOSEXUALITY

Being homosexual has brought tension to so many families to the point where men and women get disowned by their love ones. I think it is time I educate people about homosexuality and that even if you are homosexual there's no need for discrimination...I mean we still human beings and we have the same rights.

Just so you guys know about me, I'm a gay guy who came out just recently because of my ex boyfriend. It was 2016 when he came to my house and introduced himself to my parents. It came as a shock to them and I was able to see what they really think about homosexual people and trust me..just like any parent who is "hurt" and shocked, they were in disbelief. Oh yes hunny, I got the lecture of my life and trust me it was painful, hurting and felt like I disappointed my parents.

Because manje I'm me and I love the way I am, I told them that its either they support me and stop the insinuation of "that's evil" and love me for who I am. and also I would like to thank my ex for this because if it wasn't for him I would still be living a double life-which is not easy. I love being gay, its something that I grew from, its something that's in me and I would never change for anyone...not even my parents. so basically all I'm saying is be YOU and only YOU know what makes YOU happy at the end of the day.

Being homosexual doesn't mean I want to have sex with every guy I see no! I am homosexual because I am attracted by people who are in the same gender as me. I mean tall dark and handsome type of vibe. Not just every guy...im a human being and have preferences. lol. Either way, its all about the feelings you feel. Trust me when I say I've dated girls but they never had an impact on me then men. Darling men are life and no one can take that away from me. just saying.
